TROPICAL HONEYDEW SORBET Regi Dean's Recipes 08/22/99 Deserts Bobbie Beers {*****} Finely chopped honeydew pulp 2 c Ground ginger 1/8 ts Lime juice 1 tb Sugar 1/2 c Vodka 3 tb Water 1/2 c {**********} 4 Servings In a saucepan, stir together water and sugar. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes until sugar has dissolved. Let syrup cool and place in a blender. Add fruit, ginger, lime juice and vodka. Blend until mixture is perfectly smooth and place in the metal dish. Cover and freeze for 4 or more hours, stirring the outer frozen mixture into the center every half hour, until it is firm but not solidly frozen.
