FRUIT COCTAIL CAKE Regi Dean's Recipes 08/22/99 Cakes Nita {*****} Chopped nuts 1/2 cup Coconut 1/2 cup Coconut 1/2 cup Cooking Oil 1/2 cup Eggs 2 FROSTING Fruit Cocktail + juice 1 Medium c Margarine 1 stick Milk 1/2 cup Plain Flour 2 cups Salt 1/2 tsp. Soda 2 tsp. Sugar 1 1/2 cup Sugar 3/4 cup Vanilla 1 tsp. {**********} Pre-heat oven to 350* Beat sugar, eggs, and cooking oil. Add flour, salt and soda. Mix well. Fold in fruit. Sprinkle coconut in 9x13" pan. Pour batter over. Bake at 359* till done. Make frosting and ice cake. FROSTING Combine Margarine, sugar and milk. Boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla, coconut and chopped nuts. Pour over hot cake.
