Pinch of crushed red pepper Pot Roast 2 1/2 lbs. Small Onion 1 Sugar 3 TBS. Sweet Basil 1 TBS. {**********} Mince the garlic. Chop onion. In a skillet, saute the garlic and onion in olive oil (about 2 TBS.) then add the pot roast, brown on all sides. Transfer the potorast, garlic and onion to the crockpot. Add tomato sauce, sugar, basil oregano and parsley, red pepper and fresh ground pepper. Cook on low overnight, at least 12 hrs., better at 16 hrs.
