Chris' Homemade Spaghetti Sauce 8/17/99 Main Dish Chris Allen {*****} Ground Beef 1 lb Chopped Onion Half small Chooped Bell Pepper Half Minced Garlic 3 cloves Tomato Sauce medium can Diced Skinned Tomatoes 1 can Spaghetti Seasoning 1 Pack Garlic Salt to taste Salt 1 dash Pepper To taste Sliced Mushrooms 1 cup Bay Leaves 3 Oregano 1 pinch Italian Seasoning 1 dash Egg 1 {**********} Brown ground beef with the chopped onion, bell pepper and garlic. Drain excess grease and return to pan. Add remaining ingredience except for the egg and mix thoroughly. Heat on medium until sauce begins to bubble. Break open the egg into the sauce. Allow the egg to sit on top of the sauce for 1 minute then break the yolk and stir in. (The egg is necessary for bringing out the flavor of the spices.) Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low. Serve when your noodles are ready.
