CHERRY STREUSEL COFFE CAKE Regi Dean's Recipes 08/22/99 Cakes Nita {*****} Dry Yeast 1 pkg. Eggs 2 Flour 1 cup Margarine 5 TBS. Pie Filling 1 can Sugar 2 TBS. Warm Water 2/3 cups Yellow Cake Mix 1 pkg. {**********} Preheat oven to 375* In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups dry cake mix, (reserve remaining for streusel), yeast, flour, eggs and water. Beat two minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl often. Spread dough in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan and set aside. In a suacepan, combine the reserved cake mix with cooled melted butter to make a streusel topping. Spoon fruit filling evenly over dough in pan. Sprinkle with sugar and then streusel topping ove filling. Bake immediately in pre-heated oven at 375*. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or glaze when partially cooled.
