Burgundy Burgers Regi Dean's Recipes 08/22/99 Hamburger Southern Living Magazine {*****} Burgundy 1/4 c Burgundy 1/4 c Butter (or marg.) 1/4 c Egg 1 Green onions 4 Ground beef 1 lb Hamburger seasoning 1 ts {**********} 4 servings Thinly slice green onions; including 1 inch of green tops. Combine half of green onion with beef, egg, 1/4 cup Burgundy, and hamburger seasong; mix well. Shape into 4 patties about 3/4" thick. Combine remaining onion, 1/4 cup Burgundy, and butter in a small saucepan; cook until heated thoroughly. Place patties on grill 3 to 5 inches from coals; cook 4 to 8 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness, basting occasionally with sauce. Serve remaining sauce with burgers.
