Brownies ( Stephanie's Butterm Regi Dean's Recipes 08/25/99 Brownies Stephanie Needham {*****} Baking soda 1 ts Box of powdered sugar 1 Buttermilk 1/2 c Buttermilk 1/3 c Cocoa 1/4 c Cold water 1 c Eggs 2 Flour 2 c Powdered cocoa 4 tb Salad oil 1/2 c Stick of butter 1 Stick of margarine 1 Sugar 2 c together sugar, flour and coco 1. Sift Vanilla 1 ts Walnuts, chopped 1 c {**********} 24 Brownies For the brownies: 1. butter and oil to a boil in a saucepan. Pour over dry mixture, and beat until creamy. 2. Add buttermilk, baking soda and eggs. Beat thoroughly. Bake in a greased jelly roll pan for 18 minutes at 400F. For the Frosting: 1. Bring margarine, cocoa and buttermilk to a boil. Add vanilla and powdered sugar, and mix well. Add nuts and spread over brownie cake. Notes from Stephanie: "This recipe is a little difference then most brownies.
